The Trauma Responsive Church Alliance is a project of Reclaim Life in collaboration with Pastor Vuyo Mkonwana of Grace Community Baptist Church in Cambridge, East London, South Africa. The alliance was formed to create a context where pastors and leaders can work out sound biblical thinking, strategies, and action in response to individual and culture-level trauma, beginning in the context of South Africa.
The alliance leverages the program resources of Reclaim Life to unite like-minded leaders in courageous thought-leadership and action to transform how they care for people living through trauma in their churches and communities.

Reclaim Life equips churches to respond to the emotional, relational, and spiritual needs of urban marginalized communities, so that people in these communities can have restored connection with God, with others and with themselves through programs that are self-sustaining and self-replicating, that they may become agents of change with a transformed, abundant future. We currently serve marginalized communities in Mexico, Ecuador, Spain, and South Africa.
